330 Alchemy is now a Certified Naturally Grown farm

In addition to my clinical herbalism practice, I steward a small urban farm in Wooster, Ohio, where I grow a wide variety of medicinal herbs and produce. As a biologist, I approach farming with a commitment to regenerative practices that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and ecological balance. One of my core goals is to cultivate not just crops, but also habitat that supports native pollinators, beneficial insects, songbirds, and indigenous plant species across the property.

This season’s herb garden features violet leaf, calendula, comfrey, mullein, dill, red clover, marshmallow, motherwort, lemon balm, mint, spilanthes, yarrow, klip dagga, clary sage, and more, all grown without synthetic inputs. In late August and September, the farm also yields a crop of fresh pawpaws, a native fruit that thrives in our region’s woodlands and is often underappreciated.

The farm is Certified Naturally Grown, following an inspection by an Ohio State University Extension agent. It is open to visitors by appointment, offering an example of what’s possible on a small city lot. Whether you're interested in herbal medicine, sustainable food production, or ecological land care, this little patch of earth offers a living model of abundance and stewardship in an urban setting.
