Calendula and Plantain Simple Salve

This salve is simple but packed with plant power.

Calendula has been used for centuries as a traditional remedy for wounds, burns, rashes, and just about any skin malady that you can imagine.

Plantain has a reputation for healing and repairing damaged tissue.

What makes this salve different? Most calendula salves are made just from the petals, which are inferior medicinally to the whole flower and bract. I harvested the entire flower and resinous bract to ensure potency. Both the plantain and calendula were double infused into the hemp oil.

Please note that this salve smells like… well, plants!

The calendula and plantain used for the oil infusion has been grown and harvested by me. It comes from my no-spray, pollinator-friendly yard in northeast Ohio. Each batch is mixed and hand-poured by me.

Ingredients: Hemp oil* double infused with calendula and plantain, beeswax*, sunflower oil*

Calendula and plantain are not certified organic but were grown using organic farming methods.
