Milky Oats Tincture

Milky oats (Avena sativa) is a premier gentle nervine traditionally used to treat nervousness, anxiety, mild depression, and addiction issues.  
What exactly are milky oat tops? The seed tops of the oat plant can be harvested shortly before going to seed, when they exude a milky substance when pressed. Milky oats must be harvested and processed within this approximately one week window where the medicinal constituents will be at their highest levels.

While my oats are not technically certified organic, I have grown these oats on my property here in northeast Ohio from organic seeds using organic farming methods. I have a large pollinator habitat here, and it is important to me to keep my property free of toxins. 
This tincture is 1:2 ratio at 75.5% alcohol.
